As of April 18, 2022, Costco will no longer be offering special shopping hours for members ages 60 or older, healthcare workers and first responders.

Costco locations will follow the face mask regulations of the applicable province and local jurisdictions. In communities where COVID-19 transmission is high or substantial, per current public health guidance, the retailer recommends that all members and guests wear face masks inside its locations.

Limits are implemented on certain items.

Food Courts are open for takeout—seating is not available.

Costco’s release states that it is following Health Canada recommendations to keep locations sanitized. Members are asked to socially distance by giving at least 2 metres of space between each person and to cover all coughs and sneezes with an elbow.

Members who do not wish to shop during regular shopping hours are asked to also visit Costco’s website for information on available delivery options.
