Walmart has reportedly announced it will open a 149,000 square foot Walmart Supercentre at the Kingsway Mall north of downtown Edmonton in the fall of 2022. The new and updated supercentre will sell general merchandise as well as a large grocery offering.
The supercentre will employ approximately 180 people. There are 13 Walmart stores in Edmonton. The location at Westmount Shopping Centre will close with the future opening at Kingsway.
